What is the difference between inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment?
Inpatient addiction treatment at Hanley Center is a type of medical care where you stay at our treatment facility for a certain length of time to receive personalized treatment and around-the-clock care.
Outpatient addiction treatment at Hanley Center is a type of care that does not require overnight stays. You can return home after treatment and resume your normal daily activities.
Most Hanley Center patients begin with high-intensity care, such as detox and inpatient (residential) treatment, before a more flexible level of outpatient care becomes available.
What types of support and aftercare are available once treatment ends?
When you have completed a residential mental health and addiction treatment program, a Hanley Center Continuing Care Coordinator will work with you to create an organized and detailed continuing care plan that includes a range of clinical, medical, and spiritual recommendations.
We provide ongoing support and stability such as counseling, medication, family support, alumni care, accountability, and structure, to ensure long-term recovery, sobriety, and wellness.
